Some counties will not send a tax bill until the appeal process has been completed; however, if you receive a tax bill you should pay it before the due date. Past-due payments can result in late fees, and penalties, and in some cases, the county can cancel the ongoing appeal. Refunds will be issued by the county for any overpayment, once the appeal is completed.
